You can download examples for well known evaluation boards, import them into the Eclipse IDE, build and run in a few minutes.. For the starters in hardware domain, there would be many unknowns, variables that may discourage the individuals.. We designed the projects such that importing them into the IDE would be enough to run the examples.. No need to hassle with flags, paths etc..
